Westminster Post-16 Transport Policy Statement Consultation April-May 2019Last Updated 25/04/2019
Could you help us by giving your views on our new Transport Policy Statement?
In the Westminster, we have worked with different groups to update our Post-16 Transport Policy Statement to try and ensure it is easier to understand and more comprehensive. We are keen to ensure that young people and their families have access to the information they need to make informed decisions about attendance at schools/colleges.
Who is the Transport Policy Statement for?
This Transport Policy Statement applies to young people aged 16 to 18 in further education, continuing learners aged 19 and those young people aged 19 to up to 24 with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
What is the consultation about?
We have not changed the underlying policy. We previously had 2 different policy statements and different application processes which caused confusion.
We would now like to hear what you think about the new Policy Statement. We would particularly like to hear from Westminster-resident young people in Year 11 and above (up to age 24) and their parents/carers.
If you are an Westminster resident and are in Year 11 or above (up to age 24) or you are their parent/carer and you would like to share your views with us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know:
- Is the post 16 policy statement easy to understand?
- Is there anything missing from the policy statement?
Please get in touch by May 17th at 5pm. We will then make any necessary changes to the policy statement based on the comments we receive before this is finalised and published on the Local Offer website.
We look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your time.
