Who's who in the Local Offer Team?

Steve oversees development of the SEND Local Offer, working with children and young people with SEND, their families, and related professionals, to ensure that our service offer grows in range and quality. Steve is also responsible for our SEN Outreach Offer, ensuring that children and young people have access to specialist support in areas such as autism and sensory impairment, and providing training and support to schools and settings to ensure they are able to meet a range of needs.

Rachel works to develop the range of local employment opportunities that are accessible to young people with SEND, with the aim of increasing the number of those who enter paid employment.

Marianna is responsible for ensuring that the voice of all children and young people with additional needs, disabilities, learning differences and SEN are heard, in various ways, including through meetings, and consultations and through young people’s engagement groups. These provide a chance for young people to share their ideas, views, experiences and opinions on topics important to them. This helps us develop services across the Local Offer relevant to the young people who will access them. Afsara is responsible for expanding and improving the quality of information on the Local Offer, making the website easier to use, and ensuring that more local families and professionals know about the Local Offer and how it can help.
