Mental Health

Last Updated 04/12/2018

Looking after your mental health, your mood and your emotional wellbeing is every bit as important as taking care of yourself physically.

Mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder are common. One in four adults will experience some kind of mental health problem over the course of a year, and for some people they can be long-term or recurring problems.

If you don't feel well in your mind, it's important to seek help - you'll find a list of local and national services at the below links.

If you or a friend's life has been placed in danger due to a mental health crisis (e.g. a suicide attempt), phone 999 for the emergency services.
