Funding for children with SEND:
Early years settings include nurseries, pre-schools and childminders providing early education for children up to the age of five. These settings are expected to meet the needs of most children from their core budget. However, if early years settings are unable to meet a child's needs within that budget, and the child does not have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), they receive additional funding:
