The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

The EYFS Framework sets standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old. All schools and Ofsted-registered early years providers must follow the EYFS, including childminders, preschools, nurseries and school reception classes.

There is flexibility and options if you would like to obtain an Early Years and Childcare qualification, both online and in-person.

Nannies

If you are a nanny or have employed a nanny and are looking for courses to support their career development, there are many sources of information about courses.

Alternatively attend our 'Setting up a home based childcare service' course to register on the voluntary part of the Childcare register with Ofsted, there is an annual charge. Also use a reputable search engine to find nanny agencies that offer training.
