Choosing childcare for your child can seem like a daunting task and many parents won't know where to start. As a parent, you want to ensure that your child is safe and happy in an environment that is fun, educational, and caring. This task can be particularly worrying when looking for the right care for a child with additional needs.

There are lots of differences between the types of childcare, early education or pre-school services and individual childminders, nurseries, nursery classes or out of school clubs. Try to visit several possible options in your area to get a good idea of what could suit your child. Don't forget you are the expert on your child and trust your feelings.

You can find information on individual providers by using the search on the right-hand side – you can search by address or name of the provider.
