Launch of the Bi-Borough Sensory Impairment Service

Last Updated 13/09/2019 Picture reading 'Launch Event - Bi-borough Sensory Impairment Service'

Following the consultation and a successful recruitment process earlier this year, we are pleased to confirm that a Bi-Borough Sensory Impairment Support Service is now led by Westminster Training and Outreach Service. The service will deliver specialist visual and hearing impairment support services to children and young people in both Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea.

We are very excited to implement the new model and to further develop all the creative ideas and suggestions offered by parents, schools and other professionals during the consultation.

Working with families is hugely important to us and we would like to ensure that you can meet the new team, ask questions, suggest ideas and shape the future model of the provision. We would therefore like to invite you for an informal meeting on 10th October 2019 at 4pm at Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee School. Children and their siblings are also welcome!

If you can join us, could you please email the Bi-borough Service Team Leader: k.gilgallon@qe2cp.westminster.sch.uk.
