Beginners Hatha Yoga Class

This 60-minute Hatha yoga class works through cardiovascular postures stretching the fascia connective tissue to encourage relaxation we introduce supportive passive restorative postures at the end of practice to relieve the body out of the fight or flight response enabling lower cortisol levels. The restorative poses are passive and supported held for a longer time to invoke deep relaxation within the body to aid healing to the nervous system and organs of the body. Benefits include lowering blood pressure, digestion. Props to use 4-5 Blanket or bolster - optional blankets for comfort Extra blankets for covering yourself. Blocks - books - 3-4 Eye mask - alternative - scalf Eye pillow - optional
