I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I love to see children develop & learn new skills and become confident children by learning through play.
I am a mother of 4 lovely teenagers/young adults (23,20,18 & 15) who are currently attending secondary school, Universities & working (only 1 living at home at the moment).
I am an Early Years Professional with 17 years experience working as a childminder. I registered with Ofsted in 2004 (registration EY292739) and have been rated 'Outstanding' in all areas of learning.
I follow the Early Years Foundation stage and emphasis learning through play.
We go out and play every day (as there is no bad weather only unsuitable clothes).
My post code is NW8 8TD. I live close to Regents park (10 min away), we also visit Hyde park and all the local parks and playgrounds too as the parks/playgrounds have great environments too learn and explore.
I am Swedish and I am fluent in English & Swedish.
I emphasis healthy eating & physical exercise. I have also been awarded ‘Healthy Early Years London’ bronze award.
Every day we have story time and sing-a-long time to help children develop language, communications skills and to develop a love for reading and singing songs. We do art, crafts & baking/cooking too.
I take the children to the childminders drop-in (at Portman childhood centre), mother and toddler groups (at Room to play, Newpin & Our Ladies church), etc.
We also do visit the library, the Zoo, farms, museums, soft play area, cinema and other places of interest for the children.
I cater for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) from 0-11 years of age.
In Sweden I worked as a nurse.
