Tae Kwon-Do & self-defence

The London Tae Kwon-Do club is a friendly self-defence & Tae Kwon-Do club focusing on safe, fun and effective martial arts training for adults 18+. During training sessions, you will be taught the stances, blocks, punches and kicks of Tae Kwon-Do, together with self–defence techniques. You will also improve your fitness levels via a wide range of exercises, stretches and pad work. After learning basic techniques, you will build upon the foundation of your Tae Kwon-Do abilities and continue to learn new exciting skills and methods of self-defence. When you first start learning Tae Kwon-Do, wear loose clothing (i.e. t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms). You should also bring a non-fizzy drink and a small towel to your classes. No footwear is needed and you should remove any jewellery/watches etc before a training class begins. When you start training in Tae Kwon-Do, your first lesson is absolutely FREE. This provides you with an opportunity to try Tae Kwon-Do at no cost to see if you enjoy the classes and wish to continue. After your first lesson, you can continue training by paying monthly training fees. The London Tae Kwon-Do club is affiliated to the University of London as a club for students, staff and members of the public.
