My setting and my family are open and welcoming to the families who use my service. I have a dedicated playroom and offer a variety of traditional toys and loose parts to encourage imaginative and open ended play.
We take regular outings to local parks and green spaces, and we utilise local community and sensory gardens where we can take learning outside.
I take advantage of local playgroups and drop ins, and also spend time with a close childminding colleague so that your children have a larger social circle and plenty of children to mix with.
We have daily story time and song time to encourage early literacy skills, and arts and crafts activities to encourage blossoming creativity and fine motor skills.
