Tachbrook Nursery School is a state school in the heart of the Pimlico community. As well as having a large garden, we teach forest school and a wide variety of interesting activities. Tachbrook Nursery School is a calm and friendly environment.

We offer term-time education to 60 three and four year-olds. Places are organized as follows:

20 morning places 9:00 to 11:45

20 afternoon places 1:00 to 3:45

20 full time places 9:00 to 3:45

Children are admitted initially to a part time place. Once children are fully settled they may also stay one whole day a week.

Some of our children will have one or two terms full time before they leave nursery for reception classes at local primary schools.

FULL-TIME NURSERY PLACES (30 hours)

The Government has implemented 30 hour places for 3 & 4 year old children. To qualify for a 30 hour full time place you will need to check your eligibility. When you have received your 30 hour eligibility code you will need to give this code to the school.

Full time place hours 9:00 - 3:45pm

PART-TIME NURSERY PLACES (15 hours)

All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours childcare. We offer the 15 hours per week, either five mornings or five afternoons.

Morning places 9:00- 12:00pm

Afternoon places 12:45 -3:45pm

PAID FOR PLACES (15 & 30 hours)

We have a small number of paid for places for rising 2 year olds who will turn 3 the following term. We also have a small number of paid for places for 3 year old children who may not qualify for the 30 hour free government place.
