The Gate provides a learning and resource base for people with learning disabilities to develop, enhance and showcase their talents and skills in performing art, drawing and painting, and music.

The Gate also offers training to the Metropolitan Police on learning disability awareness;

  • communication and hate crime: equipping officers with an understanding on how to work with vulnerable people and achieve best evidence in criminal cases.

We are working with the Officers to set up a social enterprise in order to roll out the training to other police forces in the country.

The Gate is an inclusive and lively arts centre for people with learning disabilities specialising in musical performance, drama workshops, visual arts and film making.
