Unfold – empowerment through mentoring
Our mentoring programmes for young people aged 10-25 and women with children aged 5+. They’re designed to get people where they want to be, for lasting change. We work with people in Westminster and the neighbouring boroughs of Kensington and Chelsea, Brent, Camden, City, Southwark, Lambeth and Wandsworth, and Kensington and Chelsea.
Our Broadening Horizons programme offers mentoring for young people aged 10 – 25. Young people are matched with a mentor who meets with them on a weekly basis for 12 – 24 sessions, each lasting about an hour or two, providing social, emotional and practical support. You can meet your mentor online or in-person, depending on your preference. Whether you’re struggling to work out what your next steps are, or you’re looking for a cheerleader to kickstart your plans into action, our mentors are here for you.
Mentoring for Mums is for women with children aged five and up. It’s a great programme for women who are looking to make a positive change in their lives, empowering mentees to identify where they want to be and building the confidence to get there. Mentors offer coaching-style support, connecting women to the services and groups they need through signposting, referral and accompaniment.
Women’s Support Groups - Our women’s groups are open to anyone who identifies as a woman or non-binary person, from all countries and ethnicities, whether you’re in a relationship or not. It’s a great place to access help and information about what’s going on, while having a cup of coffee or a snack. Mums are welcome to bring children to the groups and we have toys and games for them to play with. Our Women’s Support Groups are safe spaces where women can come and make friends and build supportive networks.
