This organisation aims to empower local people from all backgrounds to reach their full potential and play an active and participatory role in building stable, cohesive and successful communities.
Services include a Girls Initiative Project for ages 10-16, with regular educational activities such as Islamic studies, sewing and cooking.karate school for ages 6-13 on Mon and Wed 5-8pm; homework club for ages 6-16 run by volunteer tutors from the City Circle on Sat 10am-1.30pm; Arabic School (Arabic, Qur’an and Islamic Studies) catering for over 150 children aged 6-14 on Sun 9.30am-2.30pm (the 46 school is fee-based, first come first served); and Qur’an School helping children aged 5-13 to recite the Qur’an properly and memorise it in part or in full, on Tue and Thu 5-7pm. Activities are term time only but there are other holiday activities organised individually and close to the time.
