The social club will meet once a month on Saturday. Lunch is not provided (bring your own).
The project of the workshop will be based on creative activities through the use of drama, art, various media and discussions. Participants should attend all sessions as they will work on a project to be presented at the end of the year.
On Jan 19th you’ll be drawing (or tracing) your own animals, coral and/or plant life using pencils and pens. There will be a huge selection of images to choose from and you will be taught the basics of how to draw, if you’d like to learn. Otherwise, just trace them!
On Feb 23rd you’ll be cutting out, arranging your artworks and gluing them onto the main artwork. You will also have the option to contribute to the collage background ‘sea’, using lots of patterned and colourful papers. Its best if you can make both of the sessions, but if you can only come to one, then that’s fine too. Come and be part of something special that we will all make together.”
You may come with a support person to drop you off and collect you at the end of the session.
Places are limited so please reserve your place as early as possible. Download the form, complete and send to Debbie Tucker.
