Kidscape's ZAP workshops for 9-16s who experience bullying

  • A FREE, one-day workshop for 9-16 year olds who are experiencing bullying
  • It is fun, interactive and will help children respond to bullying in positive ways
  • It will raise their confidence and self-esteem and teach them how to be assertive
  • ZAP includes a separate workshop for parents and carers on the day

Parents and carers request an application form for a ZAP anti-bullying and assertiveness workshop online at http://www.kidscape.org.uk/zap.  They then complete a short questionnaire that establishes their child's experience, the information is assessed by the local ZAP coordinator and if appropriate, the child will be invited to a workshop. 

Other notes

The workshop format and content is designed to be accessible to any young person who attends, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
