NVR Parenting groups in Westminster

Service/Activity is free

NVR is a programme for parents and carers with children aged 10 to 19 who present with challenging, destructive or violent behaviours. NVR focusses on relationship-building rather than behaviour modification.

Participants who complete the programme receive a certificate and are invited to become active, graduate parent volunteers. Many volunteers stay involved and some go on to undertake training to become group co-facilitator themselves. Becoming a graduate parent volunteer helps build self-esteem and community engagement. Some GPV felt the courses have helped move them into employment, education or training.
