We are so excited for the sixth edition of the Fitzrovia Arts Festival and we thought that you and your students/parents might be interested in coming along to some of the events. The Festival will take place this year from 10 - 25 June and all events are absolutely free.
Fitzrovia Arts Festival celebrates Fitzrovia's rich and diverse artistic past and present. This year the Festival will be magnificent - world class writers, musicians and artists are all contributing to make it a first class event. There are also a wide range of events for children, including:
- The Adventures of Fitz the Pomeranian Dog - a relaxed concert for everyone: including people with autism, dementia and sensory impairments - Tuesday 14 June 3:30-4:30pm at the Fitzrovia Community Centre
- A creative workshop with CocoRio (a collaborative giant multimedia collage for children on Saturday 11th June 10am - 11am)
- A dog competition and concert especially for dogs - Saturday 11 June 12pm
- A madcap musical concert at The Cartoon Museum - Monday 13 June 5-6pm
- Mini toy piano concerts at the Pollock's Toy Museum - Friday 17 and Saturday 18 June
- A screening of children's animation series Buddi followed by a creative workshop with the makers of the show
