Belly Dance - Beginners (Online)

Belly Dance is the dance of the Middle East and it's a fun way to tone your muscles and build up core strength. This is an easy to follow class that will develop your movement skills quickly - you’ll soon be shimmying to Arabic beats and wiggling your way to fitness! You will learn low-impact Belly Dance moves, steps and combinations, at a level suited to your own experience and ability, while developing your body awareness and general dance skills.

Attendance: users can only join virtually
This class is online, through Zoom, so you'll need to have a clear dance space to work in (about 2m x 2m) and a laptop or other mobile device (with a camera and microphone) to access the Zoom class. You should wear loose fitting clothing, and bare feet. (or soft-soled flat shoes). Some people like to have a scarf to tie around their hips, but that's optional. Have drinking water to hand. Feel free to join the class 5 minutes early, to meet the other participants, and ask any questions.
