Bangladeshi SEND Parents’ Group for 2021-22

Service/Activity is free

The Bangladeshi SEND Parents’ Group has grown from strength to strength and we will be continuing to deliver the sessions as a sub-group of Make it Happen  Parents group, once every half term for the academic year 2021/22.

The sessions will continue to be delivered virtually and aimed for Bangladeshi Mothers living in Westminster to encourage participation and to freely to discuss/share their experiences of dealing with children with SEN and disability as well as a ‘voice’ to gain their views on accessing services across education, health and social care services.

The session will be delivered via ZOOM see the flyer with all the details.

The session will be a safe space for parents to discuss the challenges and difficulties they are currently experiencing, in relation to their child’s education, health and social care needs and receive practical advice from IASS and Make it Happen and gain support within the group. The session is open to parents living in both Westminster and RBKC.

If you are aware of some of the parents that are likely to have difficulty, please obtain their permission and provide their contact details for us to make contact.
