In-Deep Music Therapy Service

We are a registered charity and are providing music therapy twice a month on a Saturday morning for children with special educational needs and disabilties in Victoria.

The sessions are run by a qualified, experienced music therapists.

In-Deep offers group music therapy for children aged between 5-13 with special needs and disabilities. These music therapy sessions will take place on every 2nd Saturday of the month with age appropriate groups. Group 1 for 3 - 10 year olds will be  from 11.30 - 12.20 and group 2 for 11 - 19 year olds is from 1.00 - 2.00. This is currently on zoom due to coronavirus restrictions.

We also run a session every third Saturday of the month at the same time but only on zoom for parents who struggle to get out.

We also run a carers group once a month with speakers on various topics. We also run free pilates sessions for parents of children with disabilities. These are currently online. We also offer free manicures and pedicures for parents of a disabled child.

Referral Details

The sessions are free and run by qualified experienced music therapists looking at all aspects of a child's development. Children who regular come not only have improved social skills, communication and turn taking skills but love the sessions. We are a delivery partner of the tri borough music hub working with organisations such as the royal college of music and the royal albert hall.
