Family Hubs offer support and advice to families with children up to 19 years of age in Westminster.

Bessborough Centre in Pimlico opened in the summer of 2018 and was the first of four Families Hubs currently operating in Westminster. In this centre families can access play sessions, family support, courses and workshops. We also offer housing advice sessions, parenting courses, Child & Adolescent Mental Health support and a range of other services.

'Family Hub' means the professionals who support you working together in a more joined up way – including health visitors, school nurses, outreach teams, Early Help, social workers and local organisations such as St Vincent’s Family Project and the Cardinal Hume Centre.

If you visit the hub and could benefit from a range of different services, one of our family navigators may meet with you to plan them out and make sure you get the right support at the right time.

Bessborough Family Hub offers the following services:

Under 5’s parent and child drop-in play

  • A timetable of groups each weekday for parents and carers to bring babies and young children, providing early learning, advice and support
