Ctrl-Z
Ctrl-Z, a youth smoking prevention initiative commissioned by Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea public health team. We visit schools, colleges and youth clubs in the borough and deliver interactive workshops for 11-21 year olds looking at a range of issues relating to tobacco use. The workshops are free of charge with key focus being on PREVENTION,PEER PRESSURE & RESILIENCE.
We improve the quality of life for young people by using effective and innovative methods based on evidence based approaches to discourage smoking uptake. We believe that resilience skills, encouraging participation, critical thinking and knowing the facts are essential for young people to increase their confidence and make healthy choices.
Our interventions aim to reach 11-21 year olds and are always flexible to meet needs of group size, age and ability. CTRL-Z workshops fit in well with PSHE and supports Healthy Schools priorities. Available in schools, youth clubs and other community settings.
CTRL-Z uses expertise from up to date research on what works in youth smoke prevention.
Our staff are fully trained Stop Smoking Advisors and draw from extensive experience working with young people. All our interventions are based on research and best practice for what works in youth smoke prevention.
