BAME Floating Support Services

The service offers 12 weeks of intensive support to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic service users with mental health challenges and substance or alcohol misuse. The aim of the service is to prevent hospital admissions and facilitate earlier discharge, promote recovery and social inclusion, and help service users to maximise their independence and wellbeing. Service users are also supported to access employment, training and other activities.

Also, within the service specifically for Westminster, here is support for those vulnerable to exploitation by gangs and vulnerable to radicalisation by extremist groups.

Referrals are via the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust in Kensington. All referrals must come with a risk assessment/ care plan.
