Strength & Balance Classes - Zoom

The classes are suitable for older adults who haven’t exercised before or who have started to experience a decline in their physical ability. There are two classes available: A Beginner/Intermediate class which lasts for 45 minutes and an Intermediate/Advanced class, which lasts for approximately 1 hour. Each class is taught by a qualified and knowledgeable instructor who will be able to answer any questions you might have. You will be able to exercise at your own pace in a positive environment and meet others in your local community who are at a similar ability level. There is a mixture of standing and seated exercises. You will need to be able to stand for most of the class and be able to walk around the hall. Please bring a mat or a towel for the Intermediate/Advanced class as there will be some floor work included.

This session is run online on Friday's using the Zoom platform. Please contact the Health & Wellbeing team for further information about the joining process. You can contact the team on or alternatively call them on 01438 222 222. It is important to ensure you have a phone nearby when taking part in these online sessions and water to stay hydrated. To pay for these sessions you need to pay through the donation tab on Stevenage FC Foundation website page.
