Setting up a home-based childcare business course

The Bi-borough Early Education and Childcare Service deliver free information sessions for Westminster and RBKC residents interested in becoming a registered childminder. These sessions are delivered by Glynis Mates who is the Bi-borough Early Years & inclusion Advisor for childminders.
   
The Bi-borough Home-based Childcare Course is called 'Setting up a Home-Based Childcare Business’ course (which is one unit of a Level 3 Children & Young People’s Workforce Diploma).  This is accepted by Ofsted as an approved course as part of Ofsted registration.
 
Interested parties will initially attend the Childminder Information session and the subsequent EYFS/assessment session both of which are free, successful applicants will then be invited to the Homebased Childcare Course. Currently the cost of the course is £100. The course consists of 8 weekly sessions of 2 ½ hours sessions.

Where: Kensington Town Hall, Horton Street, W8 7NX

Notes: Places must be pre booked.
There are no creche facilities and children are unable to attend the session.
